After the Lifesteal items are generated, the champions are even more vulnerable and more quickly turned off at high damage. Developer Riot Games is planning an adjustment in LoL because of this.

The battles in League of Legends seem to go by too quickly for the developers. Therefore, according to the gameplay developer “RiotAxes” the damage in the MOBA is to get an overhaul.

For some time now, team fights in League of Legends in particular have been over after just a few seconds. As a rule, such a fight is settled after an average of just under 14 seconds. Therefore, Riot Games seems to want to slow down the speed a bit so that the clash of champions is not over after a short time. For this, the development studio wants to reduce the damage.

An “overcorrection of damage” is said to be to blame for the balance issue according to RiotAxes. Furthermore, lifesteals were only drastically generated in League of Legends with patch 12.6. Riot Games has massively reduced the stolen lives. As a result, the champions are more susceptible to damage and die faster. In contrast, the damage has remained the same, which has also affected the speed of the fights.

However, the gameplay developer has not given any insight into which champions will have their damage reduced and whether it will only affect some. However, the changes could still be expected in Season 12, as RiotAxes says the revamp can be expected in the next few weeks. Still, it clarifies that LoL is at its best when it is fast-paced. Too drastic a reduction in damage should not be expected in that case. Season 12 in Leauge of Legends is expected to run until November.
