Nvidia has announced DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction: The new neural denoiser technology will be available in August for all GeForce RTX GPUs.

At Computex 2026, Nvidia not only unveiled new hardware but also had a new software announcement up its sleeve: DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction is on the way.

Starting in August 2026, the new version of the neural denoising process will be available via the Nvidia app. This is explicitly not an exclusive feature of the current RTX 50 generation; according to theNvidia blog postall RTX graphics cards are set to receive DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction.

DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction: What Has Changed

According to Nvidia, the new version offers 35 percent more computational capacity than its predecessor while processing 20 percent more model parameters with similar runtime performance.

The expanded training dataset is intended to make image reconstruction more precise; in addition, developers have greater control over temporal accumulation—that is, the extent to which earlier frames are factored into the calculation.

At launch, 27 games will support the new technology, including Cyberpunk 2077, Half-Life 2 RTX, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. Nvidia highlights specific quality improvements in three titles:

  • In »Indiana Jones and the Great Circle« weather particles are said to appear cleaner and show virtually no ghosting.
  • »PRAGMATA« benefits from improved lighting performance for laser effects; in »Alan Wake 2« , on the other hand, the CRT TV scene remains exemplary in terms of frame stability.

DLSS 4.5: Updates for Current Games

Several major online titles are set to upgrade to DLSS 4.5 in the coming weeks. “Marvel Rivals” will receive the DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution and Dynamic Multi Frame Generation update on June 12; prior to that, “Naraka: Bladepoint” receive the Super Resolution component upgrade on June 5.

1,000 RTX titles and Blender 5.3

At the same time, Nvidia announced that the RTX ecosystem has surpassed the 1,000 mark for supported games and applications.

Speaking of applications: DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction is also set to be integrated into Blender 5.3 as a new denoiser. According to Nvidia, this allows 3D artists to see near-final render quality while working on a scene, without having to wait for full render passes. Blender 5.3 is scheduled for fall 2026.
