CS legend Fatih “gob b” Dayik is interested in the soon to be released shooter Valorant. The Head of CS:GO of Berlin International Gaming (BIG) talks about the potential of the title from Riot Games.
The Shooter Valorant will be released in summer 2020 and investments are already emerging before the launch. Several months before the release, the Korean organization T1 has signed a former CS:GO professional. BIG is also flirting with the title from LoL developer Riot Games. In an interview with esports.com, gob b talks about Valorant.

“My first impression of Valorant was a good one,” gob b begins. “Of course I would have liked to get a personal impression at the Playtest event, but I’m sure I’ll be able to make up for that soon. The Berliner alludes to the gameplay event planned for March in Los Angeles, which was cancelled due to the corona virus.

Valorant offers great potential
For BIG, Valorant seems to be able to become another title in the organisation’s portfolio. “At BIG, we already sat down together after the announcement and discussed and planned possible BIG projects, be they professional or amateur. We want to have a good concept at the start,” gob b. His organization is best known for the teams in CS:GO and League of Legends.

VALORANT: ALL INFORMATION ABOUT THE CHARACTERS AND SKILLS

Whether the futuristic shooter Valorant could become a competition for the realistic CS:GO is left open by gob b. “That remains to be seen! In the first in-game videos you can already see certain similarities in terms of buy menu and aim behavior,” says the 32-year-old. “But I think it picks up players from many different games and offers a lot of potential.”

gob b ended his professional career in 2019 in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and then moved to the management of BIG. The German with Turkish roots has been active in the organization since January 2017 and took second place at ESL One Cologne 2018.
