LoL Worlds 2021: Where and when to tune in?

The League of Legends World Championship starts in a few weeks. We summarise all the information you need about streams and schedules.

The biggest LoL event of the year will take place in the Laugardalshöll Indoor Sporting Arena in Reykjavik from 5 October. Here you can find out how and where you can watch the games.

What is the schedule?

Official start times for the broadcast and more detailed information on the upcoming matches are not yet available, but we already have a rough schedule for the showdown:

  • Play-Ins: 5 to 9 October
  • Group Stage: 11 to 13 and 15 to 18 October
  • Quarter-finals: 22 to 25 October
  • Semi-finals: 30 to 31 October
  • Final: 6 November

Participating teams and tournament format

The following teams from the following countries will compete in Reykjavik starting from the group stage:

  • DWG KIA (South Korea)
  • Gen.G (South Korea)
  • T1 (South Korea)
  • EDward Gaming (China)
  • FunPlus Phoenix (China)
  • Royal Never Give Up (China)
  • MAD Lions (Europe)
  • Fnatic (Europe)
  • Rogue (Europe)
  • 100 Thieves (North America)
  • Team Liquid (North America)
  • PSG Talon (South East Asia)

Four additional participants will have to go through the play-ins beforehand, with a total of ten teams competing for a place in the final round. Who belongs to it
