The new “Masters of Mayhem” season kicks off with powerful premium tanks, exclusive commanders, and the return of the “Rush the Stage” mode.

Today marks the start of Metal Fest 2026 in Wargaming’s World of Tanks Modern Armor as part of the new “Masters of Mayhem” season.

Featuring two new bands, each with a headliner, the event also includes challenges, discounts, rewards, and content from four previous Metal Fest events.

Five Finger Death Punch kicks off Act 1 from August 4 to 24, 2026. This will be followed by a one-week break before the headliner for Act 2 is revealed and takes the virtual stage on September 1.

New FFDP Tanks and Exclusive Commanders

Aside from the music, you can look forward to two new Premium tanks inspired by Five Finger Death Punch, five exclusive 2D commanders featuring all band members, the 3D commander “Knucklehead,” cosmetic items, and limited-time challenges.

Wargaming describes the FFDP Knucklehead tank as “a rugged, front-heavy tank with heavy armor and a gun whose burst fire has devastating effects.” It’s inspired by the band’s style, so you’ll see the Knucklehead mascot, brass knuckles on the turret, and other details. When you select the tank, the new song “Eye of the Storm” plays simultaneously.

Meanwhile, the FFDP Iron Fist Tank Destroyer is meant to embody the darker side of Five Finger Death Punch—with a steel finish, red handprints, scratch marks, and the FFDP brass knuckles crowning the turret. A battery of five oversized rockets mounted across the rear rounds out the look. When you select this tank, the 2017 song “Trouble” plays.

Return of the “Rush the Stage” Event Mode

With the launch of Metal Fest, the Rush the Stage mode is also making a comeback—an improved reimagining of the Vanguard event mode from 2025. Here, you can expect fast-paced 7v7 battles with respawns on a Metal Fest-style Ghost Town map—complete with concert stages, dazzling lights, and a festival-inspired backdrop.
