In a new feature video, Sega and Sports Interactive showcase the significant improvements to the user interface and customization in the upcoming FM27.
Sega and Sports Interactive confirmed this afternoon that Football Manager 27 is set to be released in November.
At the same time, the development studio has released a video offering the first gameplay insights into this year’s installment. It focuses on improvements to navigation, full-screen experience, and customization.
New Interface and Adaptive Layouts: Focus on Community Feedback
“The series of changes and improvements to the user interface builds on the existing design language and brings back familiar behaviors, with community input and the exploratory aspect of the game’s design taking center stage,” the company stated on this topic.
“This update, which also addresses work on scaling, adaptive layouts, and customization settings that allow the game to adapt to each player’s coaching style, marks the start of regular releases addressing a variety of game areas influenced by user feedback.”
Platform details to follow: The second attempt using the Unity engine
Sega plans to announce further details regarding the specific release date of Football Manager 27, the supported platforms, and pre-order options in the coming weeks.
This is the second new version in the series since the switch to the Unity engine. Problems with the engine transition led to Football Manager 2025 being canceled after several delays. Last year, the new framework made its debut with FM26.
