The biggest demand of the community in Call of Duty: Warzone is the FOV slider on the console. However, this will most likely not come.

For some time now, there has been the FOV Slider in Call of Duty: Warzone. This means Field of View and indicates how much of the environment can be graphically processed and perceived. However, this option does not exist on the console. According to leakers and insiders, it is supposedly a technical problem in the game itself, so that this function becomes impossible on PlayStation 4 and Co.

The consoles would have graphical limitations that cannot use the FOV slider – yet. Due to a report about a possible successor to Warzone, the topic about the FOV Slider has been reignited. Allegedly, this option will be released next year in Call of Duty: Warzone 2.

Warzone 2 is said to be a revamped version of Battle Royals and thus could fix some bugs and issues like the numerous bugs and glitches. However, the successor Warzone 2 would no longer have an FOV slider designed for the PlayStation 4.

After all, the developers would no longer be bound to the graphical limitations and hardware of the PlayStation 4 and could improve as well as upgrade them for the new game. Because of this, the probability that the FOV Slider will appear on the consoles before Warzone 2 is relatively low. Therefore, players will have to continue to settle for the default settings.
