The new “Rides & Relics” DLC transforms Two Point Museum into an amusement park: You can look forward to carnival attractions, your own mini-roller coasters, a new location, and more.
That made me smile. After Two Point Studios kicked things off with Two Point Hospital—the spiritual successor to the classic hospital simulator *Theme Hospital* by developer Bullfrog Productions—the studio is now diving even deeper into the past. The newly announced “Rides & Relics” DLC for the excellent Two Point Museum is a tribute to Theme Hospital’s popular predecessor, Theme Park—and you can even build your own roller coasters!
By the way, Two Point Studios has a direct connection to Bullfrog Productions, in case you didn’t know: Founders Mark Webley and Gary Carr used to work at the now-defunct developer and actually helped create the 1994 game *Theme Park*. So that’s a nice little bit of symmetry.

In any case: Rides & Relics is the latest installment in the series of mostly excellent DLC expansions for Two Point Museum; previous releases have cleverly spiced up the museum concept by introducing, among other things, zoo animals, art appreciation, and even a variation on D&D-style fantasy tabletop games. And this time, it’s all about amusement parks and carnivals.
By sending your new fairground experts to the new expedition map, Gearbox Fairground, you’ll discover new blueprints and perks that let you unlock 17+ fairground exhibits, including interactive displays and vintage rides (the trailer features, among other things, a pirate ship, a haunted house, a Ferris wheel, a popcorn stand, a cotton candy stand, a teacup ride, and, um, a cheese slide). You can also build your own mini-roller coasters—with adjustable height, incline, and curvature—and there’s talk of five unique roller coaster themes.
In addition, Rides & Relics introduces a brand-new museum location—the Riquetti Gardens—as well as a new five-star campaign, new items in the gift shop, and new themed objects and decorations, including amusement park-inspired versions of the helipad, ticket booth, benches, trash cans, and much more. Oh, and and to entertain visitors even more, there are ten unlockable mascot outfits you can dress some of your poor museum staff in.
The Rides & Relics DLC for Two Point Museum costs €9.99 and launches on October 8 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC (via Steam and Epic) . A release for the Switch 2 is coming “soon.” That leaves just one question: What’s next, Two Point Studio—Cyberpunk or flying carpets?
