You used to need all parts of Total War: Warhammer to play the gigantic Immortal Realms campaign. That is no longer the case.

Total War: Warhammer 3 has gone quiet, so quiet that the developers recently addressed the community in a post asking for understanding and presenting first plans for 2023. But Creative Assembly seems to have truly understood that actions weigh heavier than words, because barely a week later there’s a really gigantic gift for everyone who owns Total War: Warhammer 3!

Previously, anyone who wanted to play the mega-campaign Immortal Empires had to own all three Total Wars in the Warhammer universe. That is no longer the case!

As the devs recently announced via a Twitter post, everyone can now enjoy the huge Immortal Empires campaign as long as they own Warhammer 3. So you no longer have to buy the prequels to unlock the additional races and lands:

Translated semi-literally:

Since the launch of Immortal Empires last August, our team has been working flat out to bring this greatest of all Total War campaigns to the widest possible audience. Today, we can finally announce that Immortal Empires is now out of beta and available to all Total War: Warhammer 3 owners, regardless of whether you own the two predecessors to the trilogy.

Fittingly, Creative Assembly has also released a new epic trailer. Especially the ending should be interesting for fans. You can watch it right here:

What do I get here in detail?

For many fans, Immortal Empires was the real reason to look forward to Total War: Warhammer 3, because for the first time it would be possible to play almost the entire Warhammer world map with dozens of races – from the jungles of Lustria to Far Eastern Cathay. And that’s exactly what Creative Assembly finally delivered:

So if you haven’t enjoyed Immortal Empires yet and feel like wasting a few hundred hours of your life on a new project, then by all means give the mode a chance. Now cheaper than ever.
