There are currently lots of exciting games on sale on Steam, some of them cheaper than ever before – including a very special highlight

It’s that time again: Like every Wednesday, we pick out the best offers from the current Steam Sale. Our list includes games for every taste – and for every budget. While browsing around, we came across one title in particular that you shouldn’t miss out on!

Highlight of the week – Horizon: Zero Dawn – Complete Edition

Horizon: Zero Dawn is an award-winning action role-playing game that takes place in a post-apocalyptic universe where you fight against machine dinosaurs. The video game was initially released exclusively for PS4 and has also been available for PC since 2020. 

In the open world hit, you take on the role of the heroine Aloy, who, together with other hunters, ensures a balance between man and machine – because the world is full of robot dinosaurs. In the process, you embark on a search for answers as to why the world has become the place where you are now fighting for survival.

With a huge map and a comprehensive main and numerous side quests, this action title offers many hours of fun, making it an absolute hit, and not just during the sale. The discounted price helps, of course, because you can currently save a whole 75 percent on the (Horizon: Zero Dawn complete version on Steam) 

In addition to the main game Horizon: Zero Dawn, the complete version also includes the expansion (The Frozen Wilds) as well as various skin packs.

• Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen: In this open-world role-playing game, you and your three AI companions are transported to a dark island with a huge underworld full of dangers as part of the Dark Arisen add-on. (Discounted by 84 percent to 4.79 euros until December 12)

• Frostpunk: In this acclaimed strategy game on Steam, you try to keep survivors warm in a post-apocalyptic ice age. (Reduced by 80 percent to 5.99 euros until December 6)

• Panzer Corps 2: Like its predecessor, this strategy game is based on the legendary Panzer General. On a turn-by-turn basis, you move entire armies by air, sea and air across hex maps to replay well-known battles of the Second World War. Compared to its predecessor, the technology in particular has been greatly improved. (On Steam reduced by 60 percent to 15.59 euros until December 5, on Gamesplanet even cheaper for 11 euros)

• The Planet Crafter: The survival crafting game is currently still in Early Access, but is already generating enthusiasm on Steam with 94 percent extremely positive reviews. In the open world in space, you try to make a desert planet habitable. (On Steam reduced by 25 percent to 14.62 euros until December 5, on GOG you can even find it a few cents cheaper).

• Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince: In the fourth installment of Frozenbyte’s puzzle game series, you must save a fairytale kingdom from the prince’s nightmares come true in 2.5D perspective – and at a rock-bottom price! (Reduced by 40 percent to 7.19 euros until December 12) By the way, the Trine Enchanted Edition and the second part are also on offer in the Steam Sale.

• A Juggler’s Tale: In this atmospheric adventure game from German developer Kaleidoscube, you help a little puppet called Abby to escape her fate in the circus and find her own way. (Reduced by 80 percent to 2.99 euros until December 12)

• Golf With Your Friends: In the 3D minigolf simulation for up to 12 players at the same time, you not only sink the ball with your minigolf skills, but also your friends. On numerous themed courses, you can either play a fair match or sabotage them and their ball using various means. (Reduced by 65 percent to 8.40 euros until December 4)

• Hell Let Loose: A celebrated multiplayer shooter has just gone on sale as the grand finale. With 50 players on each side, you can plunge into the battles of the Second World War. At almost 30 euros, the game is the most expensive title on our sale list, but it’s definitely worth it for a change from other shooters! (Reduced by 35 percent to 29.24 euros until December 12)
