A new weekend is dawning – and that means there are some free games again. What’s currently available for free? Far Cry 3, Nioh, Rainbow Six Siege and more.

Six free games are waiting for you this weekend. Three of them you can keep forever, three you can try out for free for a limited time. As usual, we provide you with an overview and tell you what is particularly worthwhile.

These 6 games are free this weekend

Highlight of the week: Far Cry 3

The best Far Cry for free: You haven’t played Far Cry 3 until today? Then there’s no excuse now. The excursion into the pirate kingdom of villain Vaas Montenegro is still considered the highlight of the shooter series for good reason. Thanks to the beautiful open world, enormous freedom of play, exciting story and interesting characters.

Even those who know Far Cry 3 inside out can immerse themselves once again in the madness on Rook Island with a clear conscience and give protagonist Jason Brody a Caribbean holiday he will never forget. There is hardly a better preparation for Far Cry 6, which will be released on 7 October 2021.

The clock is ticking: If you want to get your hands on Far Cry 3 for free, you’ll have to hurry. You only have until Saturday, 11 September 2021 at 08:30 in the morning to grab the Ubi shooter for free at Ubisoft Connect.

Far Cry 3 for free: The open-world hit is now free for a short time

These 3 games are now permanently free

In addition to Far Cry 3, you can grab four more free games this weekend and keep them forever. Check out Steam, Epic and also Ubisoft Connect for them.

– Nioh: A hard-hitting Souls-like game that takes us to feudal Japan in the 17th century. Here you cross blades with nasty demons and insane humans and die many, many screen deaths in the process. Nioh is currently free at Epic.

– Sheltered: In the survival game you don’t just have to look after yourself, but your whole family at the same time. And they, like you, suffer from hunger, thirst and diseases. In the game principle à la Fallout: Shelter, you barricade yourself in an underground shelter and make serious decisions. You can get Sheltered for free from Epic.

You can play these 3 games for free this weekend.

– Rainbow Six Siege: Ubisoft’s tactical shooter is free to play this weekend. If you want to get a taste of the 5v5 ball game with attackers and defenders, now is your best chance to do so.

– F1 2021: If you want to try your hand at a challenging racing simulation with the official licences of Formula 1, you can do so at no cost for the current weekend.

– Madden NFL 22: You can currently try your hand at the latest edition of the American football simulation without having to pay any money.
