There are various ways to launch promotions for a product. Capcom has apparently opted for one of the more disturbing variants. For the past few days, the company has been releasing… interesting shorts for the Resident Evil 4 remake.
I think we can all agree that Leon S. Kennedy did not meet an easy fate. Especially not when he is tasked with rescuing the president’s daughter Ashley in Resident Evil 4. That this mission will not be a walk in the park was already shown in the original as well as in the gameplay material released so far.
In a series of short films, Capcom brings the events surrounding the upcoming remake to the point. The three clips released so far show, on the one hand, the bizarre village of the insane cult members. On the other hand, it becomes clear how easy it is to die in this series. What already sounds bad, however, becomes even more bizarre, because: Capcom uses a cartoon animation reminiscent of series like Heidi. But it’s best to see for yourself.
Resident Evil 4 releases tomorrow, March 24 for PC, PlayStation and Xbox One.
