As the latest gameplay overview trailer of Remnant II shows, we can expect brutal Souls-like combat in a fantasy setting. We summarise the first impressions of this epic brawl for you.

Although humanity is persistent in the fight against the Saat there is still a threat from these monstrous creatures. To fight them, you travel alone or at most in a team of three with the help of the World Stones to remote locations.
In Yaesha  you will find corrupted jungles and temple towers, while Losomn offers gloomy cities and cathedrals. It gets lonelier in the abandoned stations and areas of N’erud

As each Remnant II campaign is dynamically generated, new gameplay experiences await you with each playthrough, presenting new challenges and encounters.

The combat of Remnant II lives mainly through the Souls-like mechanics. You have to constantly keep moving, dodge and analyse the behaviour of your enemies to find their weak points.

In order to survive against the bosses and other enemies, you can acquire an extensive arsenal of melee and ranged weapons . You can also collect various equipment items  to further boost the perks of your archetypes

Remnant II can still be (pre-ordered) despite its approaching release, granting you an early unlock of the Revolver Hero archetype . Those who pre-order the Ultimate Edition can even start playing on 22 July.
Everyone else will have to wait until the fantasy shooter is released on 25 July for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
