Need for Speed Unbound is not long in coming. We provide you with the most important information on Early Access, pre-orders and the more expensive Palace Edition.

Not long to wait and Need for Speed Unbound is racing around the corner. The racing game with the unusual look is in the starting blocks and some of you might be thinking about a pre-order or the special Palace Edition.After all, you can get into the game three days earlier.

In this overview we provide you with all the information you need to know – and how exactly you can play Need for Speed Unbound earlier. If you are interested in Unbound”s fleet of cars, we can of course also help you out.

Release: When will Need for Speed Unbound be released?

Need for Speed Unbound will be released on 2 December 2022 for PC (on Steam, in the EA App or Origin, in the Epic Games Store) as well as PS5 and Xbox Series X/S at 8am German time. The game is already available for pre-order and costs 70 euros in its standard version.

A ten Euro more expensive Palace Edition is also available, which comes with some exclusive content and Early Access for 80 Euros – more on that below. By the way: Those who pre-order Need for Speed Unbound can look forward to the following bonuses:

  • an exclusive Unbound driving effect
  • a number plate
  • a banner artwork
  • a sticker
  • $150,000 in-game currency

Early Access: How can I play earlier?

If you don”t want to wait for the regular release of Unbound on 2 December, you have two ways to get access to Early Access of the latest NfS:

  • EA Play: As a member of the paid subscription service, you can get started from 29 November and play for a total of ten hours before the final game is released three days later.
  • Palace Edition: If you treat yourself to the ten euro more expensive deluxe version of Unbound, you will also be able to start playing on 29 November and enter the race before everyone else.

Progress will be transferred: If you decide to buy Need for Speed Unbound during the Early Access Trial via EA Play, you can transfer your progress into the full version. So you don”t have to start all over again, if you decide to buy Unbound during the trial.

Ten Euros more expensive: The Palace Edition of Need for Speed Unbound costs 80 Euros and is therefore ten Euros more expensive than the standard version. The deluxe version of the racing game is created in cooperation with the real skate and streetwear brand Palace, hence the name.

Play three days earlier + exclusive content: Those who buy the Palace Edition of Need for Speed Unbound can not only start Early Access three days earlier – on 29 November 2022 – but can also look forward to some exclusive content. Specifically, special clothes for your character or special paint jobs for your cars.

Upgrade also possible later on: If you decide to buy the standard version first and prefer the Palace Edition later on, you can also upgrade later on.     What else you should know about Need for Speed Unbound

    Need for Speed Unbound will be released regularly on December 2, 2022 for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. In the last few weeks since the announcement, one thing in particular has caused a lot of discussion: the new look. In the meantime, even the developers have communicated that at least significant aspects of it can be scaled down or even completely deactivated.
