It’s discount time again at Valve. We’re picking out the highlights of the Steam sale so you don’t have to.

This week, many strong role-playing games and simulations are reduced. You can not only really let yourself go, but also just put your moral compass aside for a while. Prepare corpse parts and sell them as goulash, take hostages or build a gangster empire? Yes, always! You’ll find all that and more in the current Steam Sale.

Highlight: Cyberpunk 2077

  • Genre & Release: Role Playing Game – December 10, 2020.
  • Discount & Price: 50 percent off – 30 instead of 60 euros.
  • Offer valid until: 21 August 2023
  • (Go to offer)

In the meantime, the role-playing masterpiece of the Witcher makers has recovered from the disastrous release in 2020. Since version 1.5 at the latest, it has offered one of the best open-world and role-playing experiences of all time

In Cyberpunk 2077’s extensive character editor, you create your character and are unleashed upon the dangerous metropolis of Night City. There you will encounter inhabitants obsessed with power, glamour and body modifications, such as Johnny Silverhand, embodied by Keanu Reeves.

The advanced AI makes the city feel incredibly alive and natural, despite some technical issues. Due to the many interesting side activities it can quickly happen that you lose sight of the main story. However, there are also important points of criticism: Apart from some bugs, the unsatisfactory gunplay is worth mentioning. Those who expect a shooter will be disappointed. The numerous battles of words are all the better for it.

More exciting games in the sale

  • Blasphemous: A mix of Metroidvania and Soulslike. It’s merciless, brutal, and as kinky as a pixelated 2D game can be. (Lowest price: reduced by 76 percent to 6 euros)

  • City of Gangsters: In this management game, you build a criminal network from nothing. (Lowest price: reduced by 76 percent to 7 euros)
  • Dead Cells: A mix of Roguelite and Metroidvania where you fight your way through dungeons, sewers, clock towers and much more to collect souls and become stronger and stronger. (reduced by 40 percent to 15 Euro)
