The popular Transformers action figure and movie and series brand is getting another addition. This time in the form of a video game from Bandai Namco

Outright Games and Bandai Namco have announced Transformers Earthspark – Expedition, a new video game based on the eponymous animated series “Transformers Earthspark”. The launch is planned for the current and past console generation as well as for the PC. In Transformers Earthspark – Expedition you slip into the shell of the tinny hero Bumblebee and accompany him on his adventure, while the protagonist has to face a mysterious danger from his past. At the same time, Bumblebee strives to stop the villain Dr. Meridian aka “Mandroid” from obtaining lost pieces of ancient technology.

What to expect with the new Transformers Game

As the game progresses, various upgrades and abilities can be unlocked, which should allow players to enter previously inaccessible areas and reveal secrets.

The action game featuring the well-known franchise is aimed at all ages, according to the manufacturer, with “a lot of emphasis placed on free exploration, text readability, control settings and difficulty curves”. Variable difficulty settings are used.

Also, certain mechanics are designed to help minimise frustration in combat. For example, there are warnings to help identify upcoming hazards. The assisted driving system, in turn, offers clear controls in “Vehicle Mode”, according to the manufacturer, as well as the option to turn on automatic camera guidance.

Transformers Earthspark – Expedition will be released in 2023 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
