The Polish development studio CD project RED will work on a new game in the Witcher universe after the release of Cyberpunk 2077. President Adam Kiciński revealed this to some journalists.
According to the Eurogamer.pl report, CD Projekt RED already has a “relatively clear concept” for the new Witcher game. However, they will not fully start production until after the release of Cyberpunk 2077. With the currently planned release date in September 2020, we can’t expect further information until then at the earliest.
Until then only a small team will work on the new Witcher game. It is not yet known if it will be a “The Witcher 4” or just a title in the same universe. As soon as more is known, we will of course keep you up to date.
