Two weeks ago, Firaxis started introducing various heroes of Marvel’s Midnight Suns in a video series. After we already had a look at Captain America and Iron Man, we now continue with the friendly spider from the neighbourhood. We will introduce Spider-Man to you in a quick run-through based on the three videos that have been released.

You read that right. The friendly Spider-Man is also part of Marvel’s Midnight Suns and enriches the team with cheeky sayings and his agile fighting style. While the teaser is a short characterisation of the hero, the gameplay showcase offers us some important info for the battle. Those who go into battle with the friendly neighbourhood spider can use the environment to their advantage above all. Due to his fast fighting style, Spidey is able to inflict high environmental damage and hit as many enemies as possible at once. However, he does not do high damage by default. However, there is the card Webslinger, which adds more power to the blows.

Last but not least, there is of course a Hero History of Spider-Man to see, which gives you all the important info from the comics. For example, you’ll learn that the first Spider-Man comic was published in 1962, making the teen hero a whopping 60 years old. Peter Parker was created with the intention that teenagers of all ages could identify with him. After all, the high school student has a lot of problems of his own apart from being a superhero.

Fight side by side with him and many other superheroes when Marvel’s Midnight Suns is released on 7 October for PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
