It’s Midweek Madness on Steam again and Humble and GOG are also expecting interesting sales. We collect the best offers for you.

You know the game as well as we do. It’s Thursday, so it’s sale day on Steam again. We collect the most exciting offers of the current Midweek Madness for you and also give you a few tips on what you can get for little money at Humble and GOG.

What you can get for little money at Humble and GOG?

As always, you’ll find our handy price comparison at the bottom. Have fun browsing!

Highlight of the week: Mass Effect: Legendary Edition

For those who missed out on the Mass Effect trilogy back in the day, the Legendary Edition has been the perfect opportunity to catch up on the three hit role-playing games since May 2021. And for those who would rather wait until the complete package is significantly reduced: now is the time!

For just under 40 euros, you get the three main games including all DLCs – okay, Pinnacle Station has been broken by the developers, but no one will miss the shooting gallery. You slip into the role of Commander Shepard, take command of the spaceship Normandy and set off with your loyal crew to save all the peoples of the galaxy. Thanks to a graphics upgrade, Mass Effect 1 now also looks reasonably modern, and small comfort features make the game even better than it was back then

Your decisions influence relationships and the course of the story.

More exciting Steam deals of the week

  • Red Dead Redemption 2: Can’t get an open world realistic enough for you? Want to interact with every NPC and ride through sunsets for hours on end? Then Rockstar’s open-world hit might be just right for you. Red Dead Online is also on sale (Reduced by 33 per cent until 23 September).

  • Transport Fever 2: Simulation fans will also find a reduced treat this week. Trains, ships, planes – everything the transport enthusiast desires (Reduced by 50 per cent until 17 September).

  • Bioshock Collection: The complete trilogy including remastered versions of Bioshock 1 and 2 and the DLCs are on sale. Should catch up if you like scares, psychological horror and good stories (Reduced by 80 percent until September 20).

  • Cloudpunk: What you like best about cyberpunk is the neon lights and the dark mood? Then don’t miss Cloudpunk, the adventure game spreads a great atmosphere and tells exciting stories. The DLC is bigger than the main game and also on offer (Reduced by 55 percent until 20 September).

  • Civilization 6: Was already heavily reduced last week, but we wanted to mention the offer again. For turn strategy fans and those who want to become one, definitely a good idea (Reduced by 80 percent until 16 September).

  • Aer: Memories of Old: If you’re looking to relax, you can glide through the skies on bird wings in Aer. (Reduced by 90 percent until September 16).

  • Dragon Age: Inquisition: The third part of the fantasy role-playing game by Bioware, the predecessors are also on sale. If you know how to get the most out of it, Inquisition is a fantastic role-playing game, thinks Steffi: (Reduced by 75 percent until 20 September).

  • Gris: A game without language that tells its stories through beautiful picture puzzles (Reduced by 60 percent until 17 September).

  • Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition: RPG classic based on Dungeons & Dragons, still good for a hundred hours of entertainment. You can take your old savegames, mods and such into the Enhanced Edition (Reduced by 70 percent until September 20).

  • Where the Water Tastes Like Wine: Insider tip for all story fans. You wander through the old USA, meet strangers and listen to their stories. Unfortunately, there are known problems with the controls (reduced by 80 percent until 20 September).

  • Hunt: Showdown Deluxe: Current favourite shooter of GameStar editor Phil, who likes to keep it short and sweet: “Play all Hunt, go!”. The base game is not reduced, but the bundle costs almost the same right now (31 percent) for more content.
