The Halo Infinite Winter Contingency Event has begun. It’s getting Christmassy in the multiplayer shooter over the holidays.

Halo Infinite is offering a special winter event over the holidays, it was confirmed on Tuesday. Players:inside can look forward to plenty of rewards in the relatively short but free Winter Contingency Event.

The event for the holidays only runs until 4 January 2022 and is therefore available for just under two weeks in Halo Infinite. The items have been thematically adapted to Christmas. Although the Winter Contingency Event is short-lived, players should still be able to get any reward they want. By collecting XP and completing special missions, the rewards will be unlocked.

Halo Infinite fans will be able to pick up quite a few rewards. There will be ten different levels in total. Already on the first level there is the name tag “Wild Justice”. At Rank 2, 5 and 8, the colour “Peppermint Laughter” will be unlocked for the MA40, MK50 and Mark VII armour. The UA/Tatius right and left shoulder pads are yours from Rank 3 and 4.

On the sixth rank, players:inside will grab the epic background “Snowmageddon” and on the seventh level, the name tag “Navlogcom” will be unlocked. Those who reach the final level, i.e. the tenth rank, during the event will receive the “Sunset Contessa” armour coating. It is said that more content will be added in the course of the event.
