The next update for Crimson Desert is here and brings tons of new content for Kliff’s house. We’ve got the highlights and all the patch notes for you.

The developers ofCrimson Desertplan to keep releasing updates for as long as players want them. So it doesn’t look like we’ll be running out of new content anytime soon. The newly released Update 1.12.00 once again offers plenty of new stuff to discover. Homebuilders in particular will get their money’s worth, but anyone looking for new armor or who enjoys playing as Damiane and Oongka has plenty to look forward to as well. We’ll walk you through the highlights of the update; the full patch notes are available on page 2.

What’s in Update 1.12?

The improvements to Cliff’s cabin really stand out in the new patch. In the house next to the camp, you can now decorate not only the rooms but also the outdoor area! There are also a total of 58 new decorations, ranging from fountains and charcoal braziers to furniture for our pets.

Apart from that, there are a few other noteworthy new features for Crimson Desert:

  • With the workbench and loom, we can craft items ourselves, such as the new decorations.
  • Damiane and Oongka can now ride our dragon Blackstar and use the Visione.
  • There are new attack combos while sliding.
  • New helmets and an armor set for Kliff have been added.
  • After dying in a boss fight, settings changed during the battle—such as acquired knowledge or selected weapons and arrows—are retained.
  • You can now also collect precious wood with the chainsaw.

Fans are responding well to the changes, even if they’re naturally nowhere near as enthusiastically received as the major updates released shortly after the launch of Crimson Desert:

This is great. I can finally get rid of that axe I’ve been holding onto ever since I was able to get the chainsaw.

Being able to decorate outside is a big deal for me. Awesome! It makes more sense now that the kitchen is outside. Now I can free up a room.

A few new armor pieces—a step in the right direction. Hopefully they’ll keep this up and add more. Weapons, too.

I’ve officially reached the point where I regret playing the game at launch. I love it so much, but it feels like I’ve missed out on so much! Riding as Damiane on Blackstar No blame on the developers—I just wish I’d known that so much would change.

Many players also have other requests: Among the suggestions on Reddit is a second floor for Cliff’s house, since space is running out. Or houses that can be purchased right away in the cities. There are also frequent calls for new coloring options for weapons and armor, since weapons usually can’t be colored at all. We’re curious to see which request the developers will fulfill next!
