The wait will soon be over for fans of Baldur’s Gate 3: The eagerlyawaited Patch 7 is about to be released This update, which was announced by Larian Studios after months of intensive development, brings with it a host of exciting new features. PC players in particular can look forward to it, as they will receive access to the patch this week. Console players and Mac users, on the other hand, will have to be patient, but will also be able to enjoy the new features soon

Patch 7 not only marks another step in the development ofBaldur’s Gate 3, but also brings with it the long-requested official mod support. It gives players the ability to create and share their own content such as new classes, abilities and even UI customizations. This opens the door to an even more creative and diverse community that can further develop the role-playing game to their liking. In addition, the update brings a number of reworked and new endings to the game, offering more depth and exciting conclusions to the darker characters in particular.

Fresh content and improvements: What else Patch 7 has to offer

In addition to mod support, Patch 7 also brings a range of other improvements and new content. For example, players can look forward to new cinematics and cutscenes that enrich the game, especially for the evil characters. These extended end sequences give the conclusion of the game more substance and round off the gaming experience in an impressive way. In particular, the ending of the Dark Urge, one of the darkest character options in the game, is enhanced with new elements.

But that’s not all: Patch 7 also responds to the wishes of the community by making Bardin Alfira, a popular character in the game, available as a temporary companion to the Dark Urge. The update also includes numerous bug fixes and improvements for the existing companions. For example, the romance options with Wyll will be optimized, and Astarion and Shadowheart will also receive new, lovingly designed kiss animations. However, another feature that many fans have been waiting for, the photo mode, is still missing but will follow in future updates.

With Patch 7, Larian Studios is sending another signal that they take the wishes of their fans seriously and want to continuously improve the gaming experience. It remains to be seen what will happen after this update, but one thing is certain: Larian has big plans for the future
