Star Wars is already represented in Fortnite with several characters. According to a leaker, Darth Vader could soon join them.

Some characters from the Star Wars franchise are already part of the Battle Royale title Fortnite. Now, a leaker claims to have found hints that Darth Vader could be making an appearance in the popular game.

The State of Unreal Showcase took place on Tuesday and while there, leaker iFireMonkey made a discovery. During the event, two monitors were shown. These were said to have given clues about Darth Vader: One screen showed behind-the-scenes content from the upcoming chapter expansion, while the other had folders listed that allegedly pointed to Darth Vader in Fortnite.

According to the leaker, one folder is named C3S3_Vader, which could also set a date for when players:inside can expect Darth Vader in Fortnite. According to iFireMonkey, an appearance in Chapter 3 Season 3 is possible. Currently, Fortnite is in Season 2 of Chapter 3, which is expected to end on June 3.

Familiar characters from Star Wars were added to Fortnite back in 2019. Back then, Rey and Finn from the newer films made it into the game. Therefore, it would not be surprising if more characters, also from the older Star Wars films, find their way into the Battle Royale over time. With Darth Vader, at least one of the best-known characters from the popular franchise would appear in Fortnite.
