The eleven best players from the Premier League in FIFA 22 have now received their ratings. The picture will look familiar to those in the know – with the exception of the new arrivals.

After the flood of FUT ratings over the last few days, the best Premier League eleven for the start of this year’s FIFA title has now been revealed.

The best starting line-up in the Premier League consists of:

Storm:

Cristiano Ronaldo (ST) – 91 (-1)

Harry Kane (ST) – 90 (+1)

Mohamed Salah (RF) – 89 (-1)

Midfield:

Heung-min Son – (LM) 89 (+2)

Bruno Fernandes (ZOM) – 88 (+1)

Kevin De Bruyne (ZM) – 91 (=)

N’Golo Kanté (ZDM) – 90 (+2)

Defence:

Andrew Robertson (LV) – 87 (=)

Virgil Van Dijk (ZIV) – 89 (-1)

Trent Alexander-Arnold (RV) – 87 (=)

Towart:

Ederson (TW) – 89 (+1)

It is important to note that these players could receive a Team-of-the-Week (TOTW) card as early as week one. Thus, the cards could be even better right at the start.

Discussions about ratings

Heavily discussed are some changes on the part of EA. For example, Virgil Van Dijk got an upgrade to his pace rating after a full season of injuries.

The downgrade of CR7 is also questionable. He has lost some points and especially the minus in physique raises questions. The 36-year-old is one of the world’s fittest players and users on Twitter did not miss the opportunity to mock the rating.

Among the bigger upgrades is South Korean star player Heung Min Son. Although the stats themselves haven’t changed much, Tottenham’s wonderkid with his 5-star skills could make him one of the most sought-after players in the opening weeks.
