In FIFA 22 Ultimate Team the promo event “Numbers Up” starts. Giovanni Reyna is the first pro to receive a tempo value of 99. There is speculation about further pros like Messi.

EA Sports is introducing a new promo event in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team. “Numbers Up”, a promotion in collaboration with sportswear manufacturer Adidas, will begin on Friday evening from 7pm. Professional players who promote Adidas will receive a special card with a spicy bonus.

Those players who receive a special card in Numbers Up will increase one of their six sub-values in FUT 22 to the maximum. “Don’t stop till you’re 99,” appropriately states EA Sports’ slogan unequivocally.

Already known as the first player to receive a Numbers Up card is Giovanni Reyna of Borussia Dortmund. The 18-year-old US-American was already confirmed for Numbers Up on 21 October (via Twitch-Stream) and is to receive a 99s tempo value.

The 99 value is not to be immediately available on the Numbers Up map. Accordingly, a level system is to be expected to continuously increase the corresponding value over time. The process for this is still unknown.

Among others, Reyna’s BVB teammate Jude Bellingham was also shown in the trailer. Also present was Atletico star João Félix. However, no other players have been confirmed for the event so far. Probably the most prominent players promoting Adidas are Manuel Neuer, Lionel Messi and Paul Pogba. Accordingly, the FIFA community is speculating about whether these superstars will also receive a Numbers Up version. The secret will be revealed at 7 p.m. at the latest.
