Call of Duty goes into Halloween mode. The special offers special game modes and rewards in a spooky night atmosphere, where famous horror characters will appear.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare unleashes horror legends on players on Tuesday. Whether it’s Leatherface with the chainsaw or Jigsaw’s doll Billy – the Halloween special “The Haunting of Verdansk” will provide plenty of goosebumps. The trailer already gives a glimpse of the dark events, which will find access to the CoD community with the new update.
The Halloween event lasts from October 20 to November 3. Besides the horror show between the movies Saw and Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the package offers new features in Battle Royale and multiplayer.
What does the Halloween special include? In the mode “Zombie Royale” eliminated players are not sent into the Gulag, but are transformed into undead. The return to the living can be achieved with findable syringes. Whoever has the last surviving operator wins the game.
Head becomes pumpkin
In the supply boxes on Verdansk, various surprises await the players, ranging from sprays to skins to new weapons. The multiplayer also features a special Halloween killstreak – after three shots, the head turns into a pumpkin, which even catches fire when shot for the tenth time. Who is particularly good, thus involuntarily stands out in the darkness.
Additionally, there are the game modes Onslaughter and Snipers Only. In Onslaughter, players fight for Juggernaut equipment and must fulfill certain tasks with it. In Snipers Only, the snipers can prove their skills and win when they reach a certain number of shots.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is going full throttle with the current patch and the special before the next CoD part will be released on November 13th with Black Ops Cold War.
