In the turn-based RPG Shadow of the Road, you explore an alternate Japan set in 1868. Just in time for its release later in 2026, you’ll encounter a harsh world full of steampunk technology, samurai, and intense tactical battles.
A new character trailer now shows you the powerful companion Ishida in action. He serves your squad as an unshakable tank and reliable protector. On the battlefield, the samurai deliberately draws enemy attacks onto himself, thus shielding his companions from harm.

In return, he mercilessly mows down enemy soldiers, mechs, and demons with headbutts and a giant sword. Away from the brutal battles, this loyal bon vivant also lightens the gloomy mood with his cheerful nature.
