Ubisoft has released a new patch for the pirate adventure. In addition to bug fixes, you can now hide Edward’s pistols and rescue a new pet.

Ubisoft is releasing Update 1.0.7 today for the action-adventure game Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced.

On the Xbox Series X/S, this update is by far the largest at 15.26 GB. On PC, you’ll download 3.86 GB (UbiConnect) or 2 GB (Steam), and on the PS5, it’s 1.53 GB.

Hideable pistols and animal companions: The New Features

Among other things, various bugs have been fixed, but there are also a few minor new features. After you were recently able to hide the blowgun on Edward’s back, you can now do the same with the pistols after installing the update.

Furthermore, certain visual effects from companions can also be disabled. At the same time, you can set out in search of a new animal companion: “Rumor has it that somewhere in the Caribbean, a little furry friend is in a bind,” the note says. “If you track him down, be sure to give him a good rub. Who knows—maybe he’ll keep you company permanently in your hideout later on.”
