Data mining from Rocket League points to a possible Fortnite crossover. An official confirmation from Epic Games is still pending.

There are new rumors circulating about the next crossover in Fortnite, with Kingdom Hearts reportedly taking center stage. So far, however, all indications are based solely on leaks and not on an official announcement from Epic Games. Nevertheless, many players are already excited to see if Sora, Donald, and Goofy might join the Battle Royale soon.

Leak Raises Hopes for a Kingdom Hearts Collaboration

Rumors surrounding a collaboration with Kingdom Hearts stem from data in Rocket League, reports Push Square. According to the information, the collaboration could be announced in the near future. However, it wouldn’t be a huge surprise if Kingdom Hearts made its way into Fortnite. Epic Games and Disney have collaborated in the past, making a partnership between Fortnite and Kingdom Hearts entirely plausible. Additionally, news about Kingdom Hearts is expected at D23, a Disney event. However, it has not yet been confirmed whether Disney will take the opportunity to announce a potential Fortnite collaboration there.

Kingdom Hearts would also fit well with Fortnite’s previous collaborations. Epic Games has already featured numerous well-known game series in its battle royale, including DOOM, Honkai: Star Rail, Street Fighter, Resident Evil, Halo, Assassin’s Creed, and The Witcher. There have already been rumors that the next Fortnite season will be themed “Gaming Legends.” In addition to Kingdom Hearts, Sonic the Hedgehog, Pac-Man, and Persona 5 have also been mentioned as possible crossovers.

If the rumors turn out to be true, fans could look forward to numerous well-known characters from the Kingdom Hearts universe. Those mentioned include Sora, Donald, Goofy, Kairi, Riku, and Roxas. In addition, various cosmetic items could also make their way into the game, such as the Keyblade as a pickaxe or the Rubber Boat as a back accessory. Other items, such as the Wayfinder or the Paopu Fruit, are also conceivable.

However, fans shouldn’t get their hopes up too high. Epic Games has not yet officially confirmed a collaboration with Kingdom Hearts. All information is currently based solely on leaks and rumors. Whether the collaboration will actually happen will likely only become clear in the coming weeks.
