Twitch star Kai Cenat and YouTube icon MrBeast caused a stir with a spectacular stream in which an apartment went up in flames

The meeting of two giants took place on Twitch last night: streaming star Kai Cenat welcomed MrBeast, the world’s biggest YouTuber. But the highly anticipated stream, which was watched by over 300,000 people simultaneously, ended with a spectacular finale in which an entire apartment was engulfed in a sea of flames

Streamer blows up apartment with fireworks

The meeting of the two internet stars started off as normal: They chatted, tasted MrBeast’s new chocolate brandFeastibles– and incidentally, the two raffled off 250,000 dollars among the viewers.

However, a huge collection of fireworks that Cenat had prepared for the upcoming Independance Day on July 4th could already be seen in the background during the stream. This American holiday is traditionally celebrated with heaps of rockets, firecrackers and other fireworks

Cenat was well prepared for Independence Day, with over 100 fireworks piled up in the background:

However, the mood changed when ImDavisss, another content creator, joined in: The NBA2K YouTuber flirted with wanting to ignite one of the bangers. Of course, Cenat didn’t find that funny at all

A brief exchange of words turned into a scuffle that ended with Davis actually setting off one of the fireworks. The streamers left the room in a hurry and with a loud bang there was a chain reaction in which all the fireworks flew into the air at the same time.

The camera could only capture flames and smoke before the stream ended abruptly – but it’s best to see for yourself:

All posed

Shortly afterwards, Cenat posted on X (formerly Twitter):I’m done with all this shit!– but by then some fans had already caught on to the streamers.

Because as it turned out, the incident was obviously only staged. Fans noticed that the room had been prepared for the explosions, with details pointing to a specially built set:

  • the streamer’s worn chair was brand new.
  • many decorative elements, such as the slot machines, were missing.
  • the pillars in the room were arranged slightly differently.
  • one door looked different than usual.

Officially, the fake has not yet been resolved by the streamers. However, the most subscribed streamer on Twitch, who regularly hosts superstars such as musician Drake and actor Kevin Hart, has already proven that he spares no expense or effort for his content.
