In a web puzzle by Riot Games we could possibly get a first glimpse of the new League of Legends champion. After solving it, a character appears that we do not yet know from the LoL universe.

Through a puzzle from Riot Games, the next champion in League of Legends could already be determined. Because as soon as the puzzle is solved, we are shown a promising picture with several champions such as Lucian, Senna, Viego, Thresh, Graves and Gwen. Also visible, however, is a completely new champion: this one is holding a kind of grappling hook while holding on to a whip.

Since the puzzle spits out the word “Akshan” after solving it and this is also the password to be entered, this could also be the name of the new champion.

What skills will Akshan have?

As the image suggests, Akshan’s abilities will likely revolve around his grappling hook and whip. Ranged attacks will also most likely be light based, similar to Senna and Lucian. He is a champion designed for the mid-lane, which could interest assassin players in particular with his roaming abilities.

The puzzle surfaced as part of the “Sentinels of Light” event and announces the period between 8 July and 10 August, which presumably indicates the duration of the new event. It is currently unclear when the new champion will enter the game, but we can certainly expect new leaks on Akshan’s abilities in the coming weeks.
