A while ago, Sony had already announced a new virtual reality system for its next-gen console. Today, PlayStation VR2 was presented at the CES. With a simple but stylish design, the new VR system not only simplifies your immersive gameplay, it actually takes it to the next level. In the following presentation, SIE CEO Jim Ryan talks about the vision behind the new system.

The PlayStation VR2 headset brings you some exquisite features. These include: An OLED screen with a resolution of 2000 x 2040 pixels per eye. In addition, the headset enables eye tracking to ensure an intuitive gaming experience. It also delivers an FPS rate of 90 Hz or 120 Hz and a field of view of approximately 110 degrees. Two types of sensors give you immersive gameplay, which is enhanced by the feedback vibration on the headset itself. More details can be found in the (PlayStation Blog).

Features of the PlayStation VR2 Sense Controller

The PlayStation VR2 Sense controller also knows how to impress. The spherical, ergonomic design allows you to feel comfortable and free when operating it. Equipped with the already familiar adaptive triggers and haptic feedback, the controller pair enhances the immersion of the headset. While the left controller is equipped with the buttons L1/L2 as well as triangle and square, the right controller has R1/R2 as well as cross and circle. In addition, the left controller has a Create button, while the right controller has the Options button. Each side is also equipped with an analogue stick.
