Ubisoft is putting on their giving trousers and giving away Assassin’s Creed Chronicles Trilogy for free. But you have to be quick!

Free games are still the best value: Ubisoft, just like the Epic Store, likes to give away fun games every now and then, and this is no exception. You can now get the three 2.5D sidescrollers Assassin’s Creed Chronicles China, Russia and India for free. All you need is a Ubisoft account.

You’ll have to hurry though, as the offer is only valid from 9 to 12 November at 11:00am If you grab the trilogy during this period, you get to keep it permanently.

If you already have a Ubisoft account or want to create one, simply follow the link below. There you can add the Assassin’s Creed Trilogy to your game collection:

What’s in AC Chronicles?

Ubisoft ventured into new realms with Assassin’s Creed Chronicles. Instead of sneaking, climbing and assassinating in the usual shoulder perspective, you do the same in the three Chronicles platformers as in a sidescroller. You only move in space in two dimensions, but with game characters displayed in three dimensions. This is where the term 2.5D comes from – a kind of intermediate stage between 2D and 3D.

The basic gameplay mechanics of the series remain the same. The settings are three regions of the world that, despite the numerous main parts of Assassin’s Creed, have received little attention so far: Russia, India and China. With the Middle Kingdom in particular, Assassin’s Creed Chronicles serves a scenario that many fans have long wished for an entry in the main series.

For them, an online world is coming soon with AC Infinity, but not everyone is looking forward to it.

In the trailer above, you can get a good look at whether Assassin’s Creed Chronicles could be your pair of sneaky sandals. Because as with the current free game on the Epic Games Store, the truly rare commodity these days is not the selection of free games, but your free time.
