Riot Games releases more information about the 18th VALORANT agent “Deadeye”. Everything we know about him so far can be found here.
In their monthly update “State of the Agents”, Riot Games released new information on the upcoming agent “Deadeye”, in addition to changes to KAY/O, Yoru and more.
Deadeye – a guardian with mechanical counter moves
Since the first image of the new map “Fracture” was released, there has been talk about a new agent called Deadeye. In the update the developers write that it is supposed to be another guardian. The Guardian class is made up of heroes who are particularly well suited to protecting and guarding conquered or their own territories. So far, these include Cypher, Killjoy and Sage.

But Deadeye is set to become a guard “who focuses on mechanical counter moves with the addition of weapon play.” Exactly what that will look like is, unfortunately, still unknown. The 18th agent’s abilities have also not yet been released.

On the only pictures of Deadeye that are currently available, he is also holding a large rifle. However, this does not resemble any of the weapons available in the shop. It is possible that this is one of the character’s own weapons, which would also fit the statement of “playing with weapons”.
In the “State of the Agents” article there is also a picture of a hot coffee. This could indicate the nationality of the agent. Many suspect that Deadeye will become the first French or Italian hero. Unfortunately, however, the information on Deadeye so far is still rather vague and a release date is also not yet known. So we will have to be patient a little longer.
