The Masters Berlin starts on Friday – here’s everything you need to know about it.

Masters Berlin is the next big tournament on the VALORANT Champions Tour before the Champions at the end of the year. After Masters Reykjavik, Berlin is only the second international competition this year. The stakes are high in Berlin, as more teams than ever are fighting for the circuit points they need to make it into the Champions.

The tournament will feature a total of 15 teams from around the world. As the Philippine team BREN failed to secure a visa in time, they will not participate. Four teams from EMEA, three from NA, two from South Korea, two Japanese teams, three from LATAM and one SEA team will compete. Only three of the teams are competing in an international VCT event for the second time: Sentinels, KRÜ and Crazy Raccoons already played each other at the Masters in Reykjavik.

The event starts with the group stage on Friday, 10 September. Each group consists of four teams – with the exception of the fourth, as team BREN is out. Only the top two teams in each group will advance to the playoffs. These will be played in a double-elimination format and will ultimately determine the champion of the Masters Berlin.

You can watch the games on the Twitch channel of VALORANT, the German stream can be found at Agent’s Range The games start on Friday at 3 p.m.
