A leaker reveals a new VALORANT feature, which is already an absolute standard in many other games.

VALORANT has once again copied a feature from CS:GO almost one-to-one. The shooter from Riot Games is late to the game, however, because other games have already had the “new” function for a long time.

About time

It’s about time

The well-known leaker (@ValorLeaks) has revealed a new feature for the tactical shooter VALORANT on Twitter, which, judging by the comments, was long overdue.

From 23 May it will finally be possible to choose from up to four different spray logos within a match in VALORANT.

While the so-called Spray Wheel has been a standard feature in games like CS:GO, Overwatch or even Dota and League of Legends for a long time, the VALORANT community had to wait an amazingly long time for the simple, but very welcome improvement.

Everyone steals from everyone

The battle VALORANT vs. Counter-Strike has been fought for years, but since VALORANT was released eight years after CS:GO, it often looks like Riot Games has copied a lot from its great role model.

However, the reverse is also true, as Counter-Strike 2 in particular has made use of some VALORANT features. In addition to the new training mode for throwing grenades, Valve has also copied its follow-recoil feature from the competition.

The competition between the different shooters additionally ensures that the developers are always forced to introduce new features and permanently improve their game.

As players, we ultimately can’t care who had which feature first, after all, we benefit from every new innovation and at the end of the day, somehow everyone steals from everyone else.
