A new update is just around the corner in League of Legends. Patch 12.2 contains the new champion Zeri as well as nerfs for the Hextech and Chemtech Soul.

The latest League of Legends patch 12.2 will be released on Wednesday. Riot Games’ designer “Phlox” revealed detailed information on what the update will look like last week. These are the changes we can probably expect.

With Zeri, champion number 158 will appear in League of Legends in the course of patch 12.2. As a new AD-Carry, she will support her team in the MOBA from Riot Games. In addition, Janna will reportedly receive an overhaul. The range of her auto attacks is to be reduced from 550 to 500 units. Furthermore, the champion’s attack damage and movement speed will probably be slightly increased. Janna is not expected to deal any additional magic damage with her Zephyr ability and normal attacks based on her movement speed.

The two wind brothers Yasuo and Yone can most likely look forward to a buff. The scaling of the Q ability with attack damage of both characters is to be increased from 100 percent to 105 percent. In addition, according to Phlox, several other champions will receive minor adjustments, including Tahm Kench and Rengar.

In addition, the Soul effects of the two newest dragons are expected to be toned down. The Hextech Soul is expected to have its damage reduced from 25 to 75 to 25 to 50. The zombies of the Chemtech Soul will probably bleed out after three instead of four seconds after the patch. In addition, health will reportedly be reduced to 70 percent base plus 40 percent bonus life. In addition to many nerfs and buffs to characters and systems, 16 new skins will also be released with Patch 12.2. Xayah will be getting her first prestige skin.

A storm of updates is brewing in the LoL universe. Patch 12.2 not only brings the new champion Zeri to the MOBA, but also comes with a huge load of nerfs and buffs.

In addition, the three champions Tahm Kench, Janna and Rengar are to receive a small rework. Already on Monday, Riot Games character designer “August” reported about the changes to Janna. According to this, her movement speed will increase from 315 to 330 and the mana costs of the Q and the cooldown of the E ability will be reduced. However, the support champion loses some of the attack range in return.

Another important part of patch 12.2 is the system nerf to the soul effects of the Chemtech and Hextech Drakes. It is still unknown to what extent the buffs will be toned down, which most of the community said were too strong. More details on the patch content are expected to be released later this week. In any case, some game-changing adjustments to the Summoner’s Rift are on the horizon.
