Riot offers merch packages for Championship Skins for the first time. The most expensive one costs 125€, is it worth it?

The League of Legends World Championship is slowly approaching and like every year Riot Games releases a Championship Skin again. However, this year for the first time there are two different Worlds Fan Packs for those who want more.

The previous Championship Skins

Riot Games will release a new skin of the Championship series every year before the World Championship starts, there will be two extra offers for this year s champion Renekton.

These are all previous characters that received a Championship skin:

  • 2012 – Championship Riven
  • 2013 – Championship Thresh
  • 2014 – Championship Shyvana
  • 2015 – Championship Kalista
  • 2016 – Championship Zed
  • 2017 – Championship Ashe
  • 2018 – Championship Kha’Zix
  • 2019 – Championship Ryze
  • 2020 – Championship LeBlanc
  • 2021 – Championship Jarvan IV
  • 2022 – Championship Azir
  • 2023 – Championship Renekton

Digital Edition

The digital Worlds package costs 65€ and includes content for the game only. In addition to the Championship Renekton skin, you will receive chromas, emotes, icons, the Worlds Battlepass and a capsule.

  • Renekton (Standard Champion)
  • “Worlds 2023-Renekton” skin
  • Exclusive “Worlds Unlocked: Renekton” chroma
  • Exclusive “Worlds Unlocked: Runeterra-Gothic” icon
  • Exclusive “Worlds Unlocked: SUPER!” sticker
  • Exclusive “Worlds Unlocked: Kiss the Ring” sticker
  • Returned Worlds ski capsule

Collector’s Edition

The Collector’s Edition costs a whopping €125, is the latest offering for LoL fans and includes all content from the digital edition. Customers will receive additional merchandise such as a Teemo figure, pin, cap, and plush toy with purchase.

Compared to previous years, Riot Games did offer merchandise related to the World Cup, but never in conjunction with the latest World Cup skin.

The merch packs will be available until the end of the League of Legends World Championship, with only one available for purchase per Riot account
