Big announcement at the Game Awards
Little sentence with big meaning: At first glance, there doesn’t seem to be anything to Microsoft’s newsletter announcement, but as the X-Account Colteastwood correctly points out, it was something very important last time.

In 2019, Microsoft recently recommended not to miss the Game Awards and announced the Xbox Series X|S in the course of the show. The newsletter states:
“Celebrate the best games of the year and the big winners live at The Game Awards on December 7 at 01:30, along with major announcements and other Xbox news you won’t want to miss!”
What could it be about? We can only speculate about this at the moment. It could be about new hardware as well as a big game announcement.
Microsoft may be giving a preview of what the acquisition of Activision Blizzard means for gamers in the future. Perhaps some games from the newly acquired publisher will even strengthen the Game Pass.
Maybe we’ll learn more about the role-playing game Fable, also Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 is a possibility. Or Microsoft could tease a first expansion for Starfield.
What else is happening at the Game Awards?
The announcement of the Xbox version of Baldur’s Gate 3 is relatively certain. This year’s role-playing game hit from Larian is also nominated in several categories.
Although Alan Wake 2 and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 also have a good chance of winning an award.
