The Warframe expansion The New War, announced back in 2018, has a date. With a cinematic trailer, Digital Extremes has announced a release date of 15 December 2021. This applies to PC (Steam and Epic Games) as well as PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch.
The New War is the “biggest cinematic expansion” yet for the free-to-play third-person shooter. It brings an all-new three-act main quest series to the game, focusing on the war between Tenno and Sentients. This takes us into new unknown territories as we experience the story from the perspective of different characters.
However, in order to play the story add-on The New War, you will need to spend some time playing, including completing a number of quests. The exact requirements can be found on the Warframe website.
