Today, Ubisoft has unveiled a very special challenge for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. If the entire gaming community completes a community challenge by 09 December, everyone will receive Basim’s iconic sword! We tell you what you have to do to secure the deadly curved artefact.

This is what you have to do in the ingame challenge

Players who have played through Assassin’s Creed Valhalla might remember the mysterious assassin Basim from the distant Orient, who supports our Eivor in his missions in England. Always at his side was a sabre, traditionally curved for the Orient, which Basim was able to wield with deadly precision. Now we get the chance to add the good piece to our arsenal ourselves. Nothing less than 250,000 kills! is all the community has to do by 9 December to unlock the reward.

But the special thing is that the kills of enemies must all be done with one-handed swords. These were added to the game in the last major DLC, The Siege of Paris. However, you can buy some special swords for real money in AC: Valhalla’s Animus Store. Once you have completed Ubisoft’s challenge, Basim’s sword is available to download from the Uplay Store. However, this is only for the brave Vikings who have previously participated in the in-game community challenge with at least one kill.

In the official Twitter post you can see Basim’s sword again in detail and full use

Without question, Basim's sword is one of the most beautiful weapons Ubisoft's artists have created for AC: Valhalla.
