The release of Tekken 8 is imminent, and Bandai Namco, the publisher of the upcoming Fighting Games, has now announced the final system requirements. The game is based on the powerful Unreal Engine 5, but no extremely expensive hardware combinations are required

The updated system requirements, which are expected to be the final ones, were published as part of an update to the Steam product page of Tekken 8 Compared to the previous Network test, the requirements have increased slightly, but it is emphasized that Tekken 8 is easily playable on a mid-range machine.

Minimum requirements:

  • Operating system: Windows 10 64-bit
  • Processor (CPU): Intel Core i5-6600K or AMD Ryzen 5 1600
  • Graphics card (GPU): Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti or AMD Radeon R9 380X
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Storage space: 100 GB

Recommended requirements:

  • Operating system: Windows 10 64-bit
  • Processor (CPU): Intel Core i7-7700K or AMD Ryzen 5 2600
  • Graphics card (GPU): Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 or AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Storage space: 100 GB

However, the product page does not provide any information about which resolutions and detail settings the respective requirements are designed for. The notes only mention that the option “FPS: Stable above 60” is automatically activated at the start of the game

In addition to the system requirements, Bandai Namco has also announced the fighter line-up for Tekken 8. The game is scheduled for release on January 26, 2024 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S
