The Super Mario Bros. movie opens in Germany on 5 April. About a month before the release, production company Universal Pictures has released the final trailer, which is once again well worth seeing
Fans of the plumber Super Mario may well become nostalgic for some of the scenes, as they are strongly reminiscent of game scenes. For example, Mario and Donkey Kong jump through a level together in the best 2D sidescroller style and the highlight is a Mario kart race that is somewhat reminiscent of Mad Max: Fury Road.
