Steam is running an unusual promotion: Games from all genres are available at much lower prices – as long as there are demons in it somehow.

Steam is currently offering hellish discounts – in the truest sense of the word. The new sale is called “Demons Unleashed”, and games of all genres that somehow deal with demons are reduced. From shooters to role-playing games to turn-based strategy, we have picked out the best offers for you.

Until when does the sale run? The Steam promotion runs until 7 August 2023, until then the presented offers remain valid.

Highlight of the week: Metal: Hellsinger

  • Genre & Release: Rhythm Shooter – September 15, 2022.
  • Discount & Price: 50 percent off – 15 instead of 30 Euro
  • Offer valid until: 7 August 2023

If you’re reading this article while waiting in line at the flooded Wacken campground: hang in there and always wear dry socks in your jump boots! We also have a nice treat for you to look forward to when you’re dry and back home again.

Metal: Hellsinger is a really fun rhythm shooter in which you’ll smash demonic hordes to the beat of booming metal anthems. Be it with your shotgun, a razor-sharp blade or double-barreled revolvers: the better your musical sense, the more powerful your attacks.

Since the release, more music tracks have been added via DLC, and the game has also secured a staggering 97 percent positive user reviews on Steam. If you’re still unsure, there’s also a free demo on the shop page.

More exciting games in the sale

    • Code Vein: Action role-playing game that combines Dark Souls with a dark anime look. Convinced us in the test with its gripping story and complex battles. At (82 percent reduced), now 13 instead of 70 euros.
    • Shadow Warrior Trilogy Bundle: Three great, bloody and humorous action games in one bundle. Reduced by (79 percent) to 20 instead of 97 euros.
    • Baldur’s Gate: This week the mega role-playing game Baldur’s Gate 3 is released, maybe you want to complete your collection with the legendary first part. Reduced by (65 percent) to 7 instead of 20 Euro.
    • Dark Pictures: The Devil in Me: Horror game with many film-like sequences in which a film crew is invited to a horror house. And of course promptly encounters true horrors there. Your decisions determine who lives and who dies. At (25 percent off), now 30 instead of 40 euros.

    • Carrion: Pixels can also cause disgust. In this Metroidvania you are the monster and move through the world with fleshy strings. At (60 percent off), now 8 instead of 20 euros.
    • Graven: The first-person shooter is strongly based on Witches and Witches 2 and is visually intentionally reminiscent of shooters from the 90s. Is still in Early Access, now (reduced by 20 percent) to 20 instead of 25 euros.
    • Forgive Me Father: Another retro shooter, but this time inspired by comic books and H.P. Lovecraft. You’ll be getting close to horrible monsters with broomsticks and shotguns. Reduced by (30 percent) to 14 instead of 20 euros.
    • For the King: Tactical role-playing game in which you save a kingdom from ruin with your band of heroes. Either as a single player campaign or in co-op with friends. Reduced by (75 percent) to 6.50 instead of 26 euros, but beware! Only applies to the Deluxe Edition.
    • Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong: Story-heavy role-playing game in which you control three vampires with very different abilities to solve a criminal case. If you’re not well versed in World of Darkness, be prepared for a lot of re-reading. At (40 percent off), down to 30 euros instead of 50.

      • Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood: The furry counterpart to Swansong. In the action role-playing game you sneak and fight your way through the world as a werewolf. Unfortunately, there is a lack of enemy variety and the game is very linear. Reduced by (65 percent) to 10.50 instead of 30 euros.
      • Smoke and Sacrifice: Really dark role-playing game in which you first have to sacrifice your son. Afterwards you discover that the post-apocalyptic world works quite differently than you thought. At (75 percent reduced), now 5 instead of 21 euros. But only if you choose the bundle game plus soundtrack.
      • Castlevania Anniversary Collection: Contains eight games, including the NES originals, which are now also playable on PC. Perfect for nostalgics. At (80 percent off), now 4 instead of 20 euros.

Is there something for you in the demonic Steam Sale or have you already emptied your wish list during the Summer Sale and are now playing through what’s in your virtual library? Or have you discovered a spooky insider tip that is currently reduced? Feel free to let us know in the comments.
