Spacecraft is a massive project from the renowned indie studio Shiro Games that aims to blend many genres. The online galaxy with its sophisticated guild mechanics practically screams “MMO,” but the multiplayer aspect plays out much more indirectly than usual. Instead of large-scale joint operations, everyone helps out on the side to fulfill selected long-term goals and thus level up the corporation.

At the same time, Spacecraft offers elements of factory simulations, as you fly seamlessly from planet to planet, extract raw materials, and set up your own fully automated bases on some celestial bodies. And in addition to the guild, you naturally also use the collected materials to build your own spaceship, which you assemble yourself from countless individual parts.

To go along with our Early Access test, we’re showing you a few minutes of representative gameplay in this video. We accept a corporate contract, fly back to our base, pack up the required aluminum bars, and deliver them. You can clearly see the seamless transition between planetary systems as well as from space to the planet’s surface.

Spacecraft launched in Early Access on Steam on June 11, 2026. A final release date or other platforms have not yet been announced.
