MOOD Publishing is bringing the PC hit to the table as a competitive tabletop experience. The crowdfunding campaign launches in September on Gamefound.

Coffee Stain Publishing, MOOD Publishing, and Coffee Stain Studios have announced a board game adaptation of the factory-building game Satisfactory.

You may know MOOD Publishing from their board games based on Deep Rock Galactic or Valheim, for example. A crowdfunding campaign for the Satisfactory adaptation is set to launch in September 2026.

Game Concept and Backstory

The game is described as a competitive sandbox tabletop experience for one to four players. The goal is to exploit the natural resources of MASSAGE-2(A-B)b and be the first to complete the Space Elevator.

The world is described as incredibly diverse and is said to be full of secrets that you can use to your advantage. Among other things, you’ll track down valuable raw material sources and find the perfect location for your factory.

Automation and Technological Progress

Nothing works without automation. You set up production lines and connect machines to conveyor belts to manufacture increasingly complex components. Meanwhile, you must keep an eye on your energy production to ensure operations run smoothly.

By completing projects and reaching milestones, you’ll unlock new, advanced technologies that help you improve your output.

Further details about the adaptation are expected to be announced in the coming months. The crowdfunding campaign launches in September on Gamefound, where you can already add the board game to your wishlist.
