Housemarque has added accessibility options to Saros, such as Auto-Fire and slowed projectiles, significantly improving the game’s accessibility.

Housemarque released the comprehensive Zenith update for its third-person shooter Saros today.

The update adds New Game Plus and Boss Rush modes to the game, along with other features.

Accessible Bullet Ballet: New Options Slow Down Enemy Projectiles

Among the most important additions, aside from the two new game modes, are additional accessibility options—including the ability to specifically slow down enemy projectiles.

“We had two main goals with this update: First, we wanted to increase replay value for everyone who has already explored Carcosa down to its deepest depths,” explains Design Lead Abebe Tinari in the PlayStation Blog. “On the other hand, we want to make the game more accessible so that even more people can discover the gripping, explosive, and thrilling bullet-ballet gameplay that has made Saros one of the highest-rated action games of 2026.”

Auto-Fire Takes the Pressure Off in Combat: More Freedom for the Perfect Dash

Additionally, after installing the update, you can use an Auto-Fire feature. Once this option is enabled, your weapon will fire automatically as soon as you target an opponent.

“We know that some players find it difficult to hold down a button for an extended period of time,” explains Tinari. “We therefore hope that this option will be helpful. Generally speaking, it means you have one less button to worry about in combat. This gives you the mental space you need to press the dash button at exactly the right moment and dodge attacks.”

Although firing is automatic with this option, you’ll still need to reload manually.

From groups of three to “Totality”: New Boss Rush pushes you to your limits

In Boss Rush mode, the game’s main adversaries are divided into individual groups of up to three final bosses, which you take on one after another. Once you’ve mastered those, you can try your hand at “Totality.” In this mode, you face off against every single boss in the game, one by one.
