Not long ago, Marvelous Europe announced the fifth part of the series. Now the developer announces that Rune Factory 4 Special will be released for PC, PlayStation and Xbox. After the title was already released for the Nintendo Switch last year, the other platforms are now following suit.

At the beginning of Rune Factory 4 Special, the male or female main character falls out of an airship and thus arrives in the city of Selphia. By accident, the newcomer is proclaimed the local regent and must now rule over the city as a prince or princess. Depending on the style of play, the regent can either rule the town with an iron fist and issue orders or lend a hand to the townspeople and do some gardening. If the game is more exciting, players can visit dark dungeons. Equipped with a wide arsenal of weapons, the protagonists can face dangerous monsters. But fortunately you don’t have to face this threat alone. Friendly monsters as well as some city dwellers can join you in battle.

The Gentle Side of Rune Factory 4 Special

Romance also plays a big role in Rune Factory 4 Special. With a total of 12 marriage candidates, you can turn Selphia’s emotional world upside down. In addition, the story of the 12 potential lovers and the friendly dragon Ventuswill be explored in more detail in the DLC. In the picture book-like stories of the DLC, the characters themselves have their say and tell of their adventures in Japanese or English.

The adventure game will be released on 7 December for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. For more details you can visit the (official website)
