Conan Exileswas released in 2017—basically three years ago—and is already getting a complete visual overhaul. What? 2017 wasn’t three years ago, but eight? Oh my…
Well, under these circumstances, maybe it is time for a virtual facelift after all, and developer Funcom is treating you to one in the form ofa major update—one you won’t have to pay a cent for. Its main features include“improved visuals, optimized performance, and state-of-the-art rendering technology based on Unreal Engine 5”.
But there’s more to Conan Exiles Enhanced:
The Exiled Lands and Isle of Siptah regions will be “merged” into a single world (provided you own the Isle of Siptah DLC):You will be able to teleport back and forth between the two regions without restarting, even on a single server.
You can now play with multiple characters simultaneously, without any mods.
The update also includes a revamped user interface, improved crafting and building, and the client size has been reduced from 120 GB to a slim 40 GB.
Conan Exiles Enhanced willbe rolled out on May 5, 2026, exclusively for the Steam version. At this time, a release for consoles, as well as Epic and Microsoft Store versions, is not planned, but is being considered. If you play Conan Exiles via Valve’s platform, your save files will be automatically migrated to the new version.
