Industrie Gigant 4.0 was released on October 17, 2025, as version 1.0.
Because the developers do not want to provide any further updates, players on Steam are rebelling. Players are criticizing this move as an abuse of the early access principle, as they paid for an unfinished product that is now being officially written off.
The result was immediate refunds and an emotional reaction that the game belongs “straight in the trash.”

The game itself is also disappointing, as it lacks a map generator for larger maps and the charm of the classics, which is reflected in overwhelmingly negative Steam reviews.
